Small businesses are at the heart of healthy neighborhoods. For the past few years, we've focused our work on relationship building-- connecting business owners to create a unified business group along Aurora Avenue. Our goal is to support one another in the community transformation process. 

In 2010, we noticed a lack of community events in our neighborhood. Inspired by the concepts of Asset Based Community Development, we hit the streets asking local businesses and groups to come together and celebrate the good in our area.  Something beautiful was born...

Community art can turn ordinary spaces into meaningful places! We are dedicated to re-creating Aurora Avenue as a place of visual vibrancy through murals, landscaping, and creative  spaces of community engagement. We are currently looking for community artists!
